Right beside the road bridge in Wroxham in
the heart of the Norfolk Broads is Norfolk Broads Tourist Information & Activity Centre, home to
Activ-8 Adventure and TheCanoeMan. This is your gateway to
adventure in and around the Broads and Norfolk.
 At the shop in Wroxham you can arrange anything
from a couple of hours cycle ride through to a week’s long
adventure holiday. Canoes and kayaks are available to hire daily
throughout the year as are top quality Ridgeback cycles.
Canoes and kayaks can be hired by the hour, half
a day or almost any period you require, allowing you to explore
along the beautiful River Bure and its villages of Wroxham,
Coltishall, Horstead and Buxton.
For those who want to explore further afield the
River Ant offers lots of opportunities to see much of the local
wildlife from the stunning kingfishers through to the elusive
otters.
On your journey down the Ant there are many
quaint Norfolk villages to visit including Honing, Wayford Bridge,
Neatishead, Irstead, Stalham, Sutton Staithe and Ludham. You can
even stop off at the Tourist Information Centre at Toadhole
Cottage at How Hill.

Cycling on some of Norfolk’s beautiful back roads
will give access to some great local attractions such as
Bewilderwood and Wroxham Barns. We have some great cycle routes
ranging from small country lanes to off road on the Bure Valley
trail alongside the Bure Valley Railway. |

canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, fishing boats and cycles,
we also sell a selection of items that you might need for your
adventure including:

knives and axes, Bushcraft equipment, Ridgeback Cycles, Venture
